How we price work
You are told the diagnostic fee when you book, not after a technician is standing in your utility room. Repairs are flat rate and quoted in writing before work begins, so there is no hourly meter running while somebody troubleshoots. Nothing gets replaced without your approval.
Replacement estimates are free and take about an hour, because a real estimate includes ductwork, combustion air, electrical capacity and load, not just a model number off the old unit.

Why the measurements matter
Most HVAC complaints are ambiguous from the thermostat. Weak airflow can be a filter, a failing blower, a collapsed flex duct, an undersized return or a refrigerant problem. A system that short cycles can be a control fault, an oversized system, or a limit switch reacting to airflow.
Static pressure, temperature split, superheat and subcooling, amp draw, capacitor microfarads and flame rectification in microamps resolve those questions in minutes. A company that skips the readings and reaches straight for a parts catalogue is guessing with your money.
Altitude matters here too. Air at 5,300 feet is roughly 17 percent less dense than at sea level, and a system charged off a standard sea-level chart will underperform, ice up or fail early. We charge to measured conditions rather than a printed target.
